The other day I was at the op shop and I had picked the clothes I wanted to buy. And I thought ‘oh what the hell, let’s look at the jewellery, it’s usually all shit but whatever’. And then I found these two necklaces tangled in a heap with the billion other 80s plastic gold confections. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The price tags on each? One dollar. ONE DOLLAR FOR THESE NECKLACES. So then I walked up to the counter and bought these two necklaces for a grand total of $2. That was a good day.
